The craftsmanship is legit—the brass has real weight, not that hollow ‘Amazon gold’ feel. Installed above my bedframe for ambient nightlight duty. One hiccup: the included wire nuts were slightly too small for my US Romex, so I swapped in standard ones. Otherwise? Silent, steady, soul-soothing light. My therapist says I’m ‘less reactive before coffee.’ Coincidence? Probably. But still.

Great balance of retro charm and modern function. Mounted one beside our bed instead of a table lamp—freed up nightstand space and eliminated cord clutter. The light is directional but wide enough to read comfortably. Only wish the arm rotated a bit further outward. That said, my partner now insists we redo the entire hallway with these.
